Medical Mission

Alpha Medical Mission Vision

To value human life and provide quality health care to economically destitute, unreached people around the world with a resultant eternal impact on their spiritual condition. To provide help and hope through healthcare evangelism.

Help: During the thirty-three years that Jesus walked on this earth, He demonstrated His love for mankind through His actions: by feeding people, by encouraging and comforting them, and by healing them and their loved ones. Our intent is to imitate Christ with our work.

Hope: There is a more important aspect of Alpha Medical Mission. As we help with people’s physical needs, we also share Christ’s love for them. We give them hope for a better tomorrow and for eternity through belief in Jesus as their Savior and Lord. Our ultimate goal is to show people the only way to heaven is through faith in Jesus Christ, the only Son of the One True God. By putting our faith into action, the lost of the world can see Jesus through us.

Alpha Medical Mission Aim

To whom does AMM provide assistance?
We provide health care services, without discrimination, to people in need throughout the world. The availability of health care is fundamental to life and should not be denied to anyone. AMM partners with the local churches and church planters within local communities.

What healthcare programs and services does AMM deliver currently?
AMM coordinates the expertise of volunteer physicians, mid-level providers, dentists, allied health professionals, pharmacists and public health experts in the provision of free healthcare, health education and the implementation of public health measures in communities of developing countries. Our focus areas include disease prevention and treatment, sanitation, healthcare education, basic dental care, maternal and child health, the treatment of malaria, HIV and neglected tropical diseases. Our goal is to augment and assist the implementation of public health and disease control programs of the countries where we work.

I’m not a medical professional, but I would like to become an AMM volunteer. How do I get started? Occasionally we need volunteers with other skills, such as finance, administration, or information technology. In these cases, we will recruit and place volunteers with expertise in these areas.

Alpha Medical Mission Report

In 2007, our first team of physicians and nurses traveled to a small village and conducted a medical camp for the poor and helpless people. Since then, more opportunities have opened to reach thousands of people through the provision of health care. Clinics were added to our meetings, which grew in number and location.
